Sausage Fans

I love sausages! I’m not trying to say anything rude here, I’m talking about the food you sickoes! Now you may think a food snob like myself may shy away from the humble bangers and mash, but for some reason I just really like sausages. Whether it be the expensive gourmet variety for dinner or a cheap load on a BBQ I find sausages to make a most tasty and satisfying snack.
It turns out I’m not alone! There’s a whole world full of sausage lovers out there. Believe it or not, there is even a whole website devoted to spreading sausagey goodness around the world. http://sausagefans.com/
“Sausagefans.com is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of great British bangers and to help us we like to know about you and your sausages.”
Aside from a collection of sausage recipes and the latest sausage news the website also has several other exciting features. These include a sausage finder function which locates the nearest sausage shops when you state your locality. Unfortunately this is for British counties only so we in the colonies must do the hard work ourselves.
Even better is the sausage poll, designed to collate data in order to form reliable sausage statistics for both producers and consumers. The current poll is, ‘How many times a month do you eat sausages?’ The choices are ‘more than six’, ‘three to six’, ‘around one’ or ‘never’.
Definitely a site worth checking out. You may vastly expand your knowledge of sausages or even win something in one of the sausage competitions.
