Rice Pudding

This is another really easy thing to make when you have sweet cravings but nothing much around. It’s also a lot healthier than indulging in junk food.
Ingredients:
Short grain white rice
2 Tablespoons Butter
Sultanas
3 Tablespoons Sugar
Milk
Method:
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees celcius. Choose a dish about 15cm deep and cover the bottom thinly and evenly with the rice. Pour three heaped tablespoons of sugar on top. Add the butter too. Pour a desired amount of sultanas in with the rest. I like to use lots because I like the way they swell up and become all squishy, however, I acknowledge that lots of people don’t really like sultanas. Also, in the picture I used cranberries, but I don’t recommend that you try this as they don’t taste very good and they make the pudding look all discoloured and disgusting.
Cover the whole lot with milk up until about the six centimetre mark. Put the dish in the oven and leave it for about 20 minutes. Then stir the mixture so that it is again distributed evenly, and break the skin on the top. Add more milk if it has dried out too much. After approximately another 15 minutes the mixture should have become solid, you can test the density with a fork. Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
