Nut' N Fancy Parramatta

Another one of the many cafes lining Parramatta’s Church Street, Nut N Fancy stands out from the others- particularly due to its bright orange décor. The interior is very modern And clean- and orange. A plasma screen displays contemporary food designs and large letters and fish tanks decorate the walls.

The staff are strangely unfriendly but manage to keep out of the way most of the time. The garish orange seats are not the most comfortable and the food, though it sounds good enough, is relatively lacklustre. One one occasion I had a chicken salad which was extremely disappointing and overpriced.
So what makes Nut N Fancy worth a visit? Well there is certainly something fancy about their drinks and desserts. All are served in large, extravagant glassware, usually garnished with a banana leaf, poco, or some other exotic item. The iced coffees are to die for. They are filled with generous servings of syrup and ice cream and are large enough that you won’t need to order food as well.
The banana splits are equally superb. (though bananas are now a precious commodity her in Australia) You won’t find week old no frills ice cream at Nuttin Fancy. The bananas are lavishly dressed in multiple flavours of gelato, draped in sauces and topped with garnish. And there’s enough for two to share!
And the Oreo shakes, what can I say? They are perfectly rich and decadent. So thick the chocolately shake barely fits up your straw and the ‘liquid’ supports an Oreo floating on top.

Not sure I really understand your comment.
There are several pubs in Parramatta, I can't think of one called Jackson's.
Thanks for stopping by anyway.
