The 10th London Vegan Food Fair
August 19th 2007 07:25
My friend immigrated to London on Tuesday, and she’s already planning her social calendar for the weekend! On the list is the London Vegan Fair, bound to be a host of unusual flavours and innovative vegan cuisine.
Held in the Kensington Town Hall (Hornton Street) this event is happening this Sunday the 19th of August, rain or shine. And with the entrance fee a mere 1 Pound it’s a very affordable Sunday out. Under sixteens are admitted free so it would also be a good outing for families. And if you like to sleep in on a Sunday as much as I do, never fear for the fair is on from 10am to 8pm.
As well as a range of stores selling vegan wares there will also be speakers, workshops and entertainment. This is mostly folksy type music, and most interestingly includes the new genre of ‘positive music’, a style which is non-religious and inspirational, focusing on encouraging and supporting self belief and personal growth. The health stores and vegan beauty products would also be worth checking out.
