Iced Coffee
February 8th 2007 10:52
A delicious pick me up on a hot day!
Ingredients:
1 Shot of Coffee
1 Scoop of Ice Cream
7-8 Ice Cubes
½ a Glass of Milk
Chocolate Sauce (optional)
1 Strawberry
1 Teaspoon of Coffee/Cocoa
Method:
Brew a strong shot of coffee without too much water. Use instant if you must but its much better if you can use a machine, and even better yet if you freshly grind the beans yourself. Set aside and add five ice cubes. Select a tall glass and place a generous scoop of ice cream in the bottom. Line the glass with chocolate sauce if you want a mocha flavour by squirting the sauce while holding the glass on its side and rotating gentle. Pour in the coffee and remaining ice and top up with cold milk. Dust with coffee or cocoa and garnish with a strawberry.
