Hot Chilli Earrings

How to make your very own hot chilli earrings...
Now you know how good chillis are for you (http://www.foodherald.com/chilli-history-and-facts/ ), you can also learn how to utilise their aesthetic value.
These always cause quite a stir around the office whenever I make them. I always get numerous comments and my boss was even concerned that they might burn my ears while I slept. Nevertheless I was perfectly fine and did not take them out while either sleeping or showering. (Because I’m gross) You can only wear them for about a week before they loose their lustre and begin to wrinkle and dry out.
If you are fortunate enough to have a chilli plant in your backyard select two ripe red ones approximately the same size and shape and trim them with at least a centimetre of green stem. You might even take three or four in case the first two split at the stems or don’t work out some other way. If you are selecting them from the supermarket, the same rules apply.
Next use a sharp pin to pierce the stem about half between the top and where it meets the red section of the chilli. Push the pin right through and rotate it in expanding circles so there is a visible round hole. Now gently push a sleeper style earring through the hole and put it on your ear!
