With promises of being ‘hangover friendly’ and ‘great coffee’, we settled on Harry's Corner for our breakfast choice this morning.

So far, so good. The coffee was the best we had so far. I had a hazelnut latte and Stu had a double shot latte, and both were so yummy we each had an iced coffee after that. Actually, we had the iced coffees because our meals still hadn’t arrived yet. We waited and waited…How long does it take to fry up a big breakfast and whack a couple of croissants on a plate?
Fortunately there was a street parade on while we were seated there which provided some diversion. All the local businesses went past, the primary school, the vintage car club, the school bus…The parade came and went, and still we waited for our food.
Then finally it arrived. 2 tiny, slightly burnt croissants with sachets of jam for me, and a cold ‘Bavarian Big Breakfast’. This included an uncooked tomato, overcooked eggs and unevenly cooked bacon.
They apologised several times for the wait but unfortunately the food itself was the biggest disappointment of all. We shan’t be going back!
