Eggnog

Here’s an infamous eggnog recipe to help you get a little more jolly this Christmas- just don’t go overboard on the whiskey!
Ingredients:
6 Cups Milk
8 Egg Yolks
2/3 Cup Sugar
7 Tablespoons of Whiskey
3 Teaspoons of Vanilla Essence
2/3 Whipped Cream
Nutmeg
Cinnamon
Method:
Pour the milk into a sauce pan and add the vanilla essence. Heat until it begins to simmer and then remove from heat and cover, setting it aside for approximately fifteen minutes. Meanwhile whisk the yolks and sugar together. Slowly add the warm milk mixture, continuing whisking. Pour all the mixture back into the sauce pan and place on a low heat, stirring until the mixture thickens. This should take about ten minute. Cover and allow to chill in the fridge. Once cold, stir in the whiskey. Add the whipped cream, gently stirring until combined. Serve in chilled glass with the cinnamon and nutmeg sprinkled over the top.

For REAL eggnog, you need at least 1 cup of whiskey AND 1 cup of rum with that much milk.
otherwise it's just spicy milk?
