BBQ selection

Its time to warm up for summer so we decided we’d better be prepared. So domesticated as we are we spent Sunday morning at Bunning’s and came home with a garden set of 4 chairs, a table, umbrella and four burner barbecue. So weather permitting we tested it out with a range of succulent BBQ fare.
Here’s some ideas for a meat platter:
1 lamb kebab (marinated in soy sauce and garlic)
5-6 Prawns, char grilled
3 thick slices of eggplant, rubbed with salt and pepper and cooked until juicy.
2 gourmet sausages, made with basil and pine nuts
Halumi cheese, fried to perfection.
It’s a great selection for a dinner because you get to try a little bit of everything. Then you can pick and choose and hone your technique for a big BBQ party!
