Babicka Witches' Vodka Brew

I saw a very interesting little snippet in MX magazine around Valentine’s day. It was advertising a new cocktail classily called ‘The Innocent Kiss’. It is made using an exciting new blend of vodka called Babicka Wormwood Vodka.

This new blend of vodka is supposedly made from a five hundred year old Czech witches’ recipe, and this seemingly innocent drink is supposed to have magical properties which may have a love potion effect.
And here I was thinking wormwood was all illegal and all, on account of its poisonous, halucinogenic side effects. The name ‘Babicka’ is taken from the Czech term for 16th centuary old women who dabbled in magic. One of their ancient recipes has been recreated, bottled and sent to Sydney. Cool huh?
Babicka is available in the London Hotel Paddington, Will and Toby’s Manly and Zeta Bar at the Hilton.
